Meanwhile, Sri Lanka promoted a\nshift from social to free economy, and endeavored to develop complete harbor\nequipment for trade with foreign countries. Colombo port, as the major port,\naimed to become a hub in South Asia. New expansion and renewal projects are\nin progress.
